Balmain's amazing new aftercare range Includes Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Mask and Spray Shine. The range is beautifully packaged reflecting the established style of Balmain, but with a contemporary twist that will look stunning in the salon or at home.

The Shampoo and Conditioner are perfect for daily use, enriched with minerals and green tea extracts to cleanse and nourish the hair and scalp. The Hair Mask is a weekly five-minute treatment, which strengthens the hair creating vitality and shine. The Shine Spray will give a radiant shine whilst protecting the hair from dryness and preventing split ends.

Haircare FAQ

It is very important to take good care of both your own hair and the hair of the extensions, in order to keep them in good condition. So you can enjoy them much longer!

Washing the hair
Wash the hair carefully with the special shampoo. Do not bend over, but hold your head backwards or in the direction the hair is styled. Apply the shampoo, diluted wih lukewarm water, to the scalp. Massage the scalp carefully with the fingertips. Rub gently, spreading the shampoo over the whole scalp, without ruffling the hair. The extensions are cleansed by the shampoo that flows over them. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, while sorting the hair with the fingers. Use the prescribed conditioner and carefully apply on the hair, especially on the hair ends. Leave in for 5 or 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly while pulling your fingers through the hair.

Carefully dry the hair with a towel or tissues. Then let the hair dry naturally and style with rollers and blowdryer. Do not pull, comb or brush when the hair is still wet. When blow drying work your wat towards the hair ends.

Do not hold the dryer too close to the bonds

Brushing the hair
Sort the hair every day with your fingers, from the scalp to the ends, without pulling the hair. Do not comb the hair, with a comb you will damage the wax. If you do want to use a comb, avoid touching the wax. Use only the special brush for complete haircare. Do not comb or brush the hair when it is still wet.

Hold on to the hair when brushing or combing.

Sleeping
Tie up the hair at night, never sleep while the hair is still wet.

Sporting
Always tie up the hair before you do some kind of sports. Always wash the hair in the prescribed way and use conditioner after sporting.

We do not recommend swimming while wearing Balmain hair Extensions, Chlorine or salty water will affect the hair. Products containing sulphurous substances (e.g. thermal bath) will affect the bond and therefore must be avoided.

Finishing products
Perming, coloring and color rinsing may only be done by Balmain certify Stylist.

Do not use alcohol containing products. When using wax, gel or oily products, avoid contacting the bond of the hair extensions.
